Privacy Policy
Redwood Concrete Pump (“Redwood Concrete Pump,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides concrete pumping services in Sonoma, Napa, Marin and Mendocino Counties, California. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through redwoodconcretepump.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, contact us, or send a payment notice, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, project address or location, project details, and invoice or payment reference information.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies. Analytics cookies are only used if you choose “Accept All” in our cookie banner.
Payment information. We do not collect or store payment card numbers on this Site. If online payment is offered, it is processed by a third-party payment processor under its own privacy policy.
2. How we use information
- To respond to quote requests and inquiries, and to schedule, perform and invoice our services;
- To process and reconcile payments and maintain business, tax and public works compliance records;
- To operate, secure and improve the Site, and to prevent spam and fraud;
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use a cookie consent banner. “Necessary Only” allows only the cookies needed for the Site to work. “Accept All” also allows analytics, so we can see how the Site is used. We use Google Analytics with Google Consent Mode, which means analytics storage stays off until you accept. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this Site’s cookies in your browser and reloading the page. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to service providers who help us run the Site and our business, under agreements limiting their use of it, including: our website hosting and security providers; Google (Analytics, Maps and reCAPTCHA spam protection); our email and form-delivery providers; and, if offered, our payment processor. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety and property, and in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
5. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet tax, accounting, contractor-licensing and public works record-keeping requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and request a copy of the specific information we hold about you;
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information);
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it beyond what is permitted for providing our services);
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Categories collected in the past 12 months: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); commercial information (quote, service and invoice history); internet activity (pages viewed, if analytics are accepted); approximate geolocation; and professional information (company name). These come from you and from your browser, and are disclosed only to the service providers described above for business purposes.
To make a request, email redwoodconcretepump@sonic.net or call 707-538-1206. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide to our records, and respond within 45 days (extendable once by another 45 days where permitted). You may use an authorized agent; we may require proof of their authority. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing, which we do not do in any case.
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We make no such disclosures.
8. Do Not Track
The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common standard for them. Your cookie choice in our banner controls analytics on the Site.
9. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Links to other sites
The Site may link to third-party sites (for example, Google Maps, Facebook, the Contractors State License Board and the Department of Industrial Relations). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
